July 14 Free guided walk along the unspoilt Mediterranean beach of San Pedro del Pinatar
The importance of Posidonia seagrass to the marine environment is highlighted during a stroll along the sand
This walk along the natural beach of Playa de Torre Derribada includes information about the state of water quality in the Mediterranean and the important played by Posidonia oceanica seagrass in maintaining the marine environment.
The walk begins at 19.00 and it takes approximately two hours to complete the 4 kilometres. Participants are reminded to wear appropriate footwear, swimming gear, a cap and suncream, and to bring drinking water.
