Alhama de Murcia Town Council invites all locals and visitors to experience the magic of the festive season with a traditional Christmas Market, which will take place on December 13, 14 and 15 in the Plaza de la Constitución.The 7th edition of the popular Christmas Market promises an atmosphere full of festive spirit, seasonal products and a special programme of activities for the whole family.
Christmas Market opening hours
- Friday December 13: Opening at 5pm to 9pm.
- Saturday December 14 and Sunday December 15: From 10am until 9pm.
- December 13 to 15: Christmas photocall at the Flea Market (Plaza de la Constitución).
Programme of activities
Friday, December 13:
5pm: Official opening.
6pm: Free tasting of hand crafted nougat.
Saturday December 14:
10.30am: Children's workshop on Christmas sweets.
11.30am: Santa Claus visits the market.
12pm: Children's crafts workshop at the Plaza de Abastos.
7pm: Christmas Carol Festival with the Aires de Espuña and La Colla del Ramblar groups in the Plaza de la Constitución.
Sunday December 15:
10.00am: Free tasting of fritters and chocolate.
11am – 8pm: Solidarity toy collection organised by the KeDeKe Association (distributed by Caritas).
